The Kents: A married couple from Smallville, KS, the Kents are Supeman (Kal-El) aka Clark Kent's adoptive parents and his earliest confidants, it is due to both Marie and John that Clark gained a a strong moral fiber and a strong sense of righteousness and humility that would eventually lead to him becoming Superman later down in life.
Steel (John Henry Irons): A former HAMMER weapons engineer whom was aided by Superman to help uncover an arms dealership in which Irons' prototypes were being sold, John is the Man of Tomorrow' tech advisor and one of his clossest allies. Once Superman was killed by the beehemoth monster known as Doomsday, John decided that with no Man of Steel arround to watch over Metropolis, he'd become one, thus by using some Kryptonian schematics previously lended by Superman along with some of his own tech, John Henry Irons became the armored hero known as Steel.
Superboy (Conner Kent - Kon-El): A artificial clone breeded on CADMUS of Superman created as per request of HAMMER's director Lex Luthor, Kon was originally intended to become Lex's personal Man of Steel after the death of Superman, however this lans went sower after this clone was broken out by both young heroes, Red Robin and Impulse. After having been brought out to the real world and been given the name of ''Superboy, Kon became a part of the YJ team and eventually earned a spot on Kent family, being given the name of Connor Kent.
Power Girl - Supergirl (Kara Zor-El - Kent): The older cousin of Kal-El aka Superman, Kara was sent by her parents in order to protect baby Kal after Krypton exploded, however, Kara's ship entered a black hole for 20 years, causing that once she crashed on Earth like her cousin, Kal had already grown into an adult and become Superman. Without having to protect Kal and now without a home, Kara took refuge on Earth, living alongside Kal's adoptive parents, the Kents. Once Kara's powers manifested due to the yellow sun of Earth, she took on the name of Supergirl and eventually, joined the second incarnation of the Titans. Time later once Superman was killed by Doomsday, Kara took upon the name of Power Girl as per to honor her now deceased cousin's memory.
Lois Lane - Kent: Former army brat, Pulitzer-Prize winning reporter and now the wife of the most powerful man on Earth, Lois is the Daily Planet's star reporter and one of it's most respected ones. Originally hired as per to investigate upon Lex Luthor's shady buisness procedures for Perry White himself, Lois' carreer eventually got linked to the Man of Tomorrow once he arrived on the scene (''coincidentally'' aligning itself with the arrival of Lois' future husband and then new co-worker, Clark Kent)
James ''Jimmy'' Olsen: Born and raised on Metropolis, DE, Jimmy is the Daily Planet's main photographer and web designet and one of the Planet's youngest staff members. Asigned as Lois' partner during his first days on the job, Jimmy was able to come to know Superman, then later in life becoming a close friend and confidant of the Man of Steel.
Steven Lombard: One of the Daily Planet's staff members and co-worker alongside Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Cat Grant and Clark Kent, Steve is the Planet's newspapers' main sports editor.
Cat Grant: Transfered from the National City's newspaper, the Daily Globe, Cat is the Planet's head Entretainment, Arts and Gossip' editor
Perry White: Born in the Suicide Slumbs' neighborhood of Metropolis and a Journalist in his own right, Perry is the current The Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Planet and boss to Lois Lane, Clark Kent, Jimmy Olsen, Cat Grant, Steven Lombard among others. Despite beign known for his tough-mindedness and grouchy personality, Perry is one of the media's most respected Journalists and Reporter's, mostly due to his belief on journalistic integrity and having maintained the Planet as a buisness and as a distributor of the truth under his leadership.
Dan Turpin / Margarita Sawyer: Heads of the MSCU (''Metrpolis' Special Crimes Unit'') and recurring colaborators with Superman, both Dan and Margarita are also one of the first people on Earth to know of the existeance of the New Gods, habitants of the Fourth World.
