Kate Kane: Batwoman (New Earth)

The other side of the Wayne family, the Kane's.

Secret Origins: A military brat, daughter of two condecorated navy seals, his mother Gabi and his father Jacob Kane. Katherine grew up with her parents and her twin sister Elizabeth, always moving from town to town due to the many assignments his father had, creating an stranged relationship with her parents and their respective families, however someone who she did maintain close relationships with was always her cousin Bruce, even more after the tragic death of her uncles Bruce becoming as a sort-of brother for her.
However, in the eve of her 10th birthday, Katie and her sister were kidnapped  alongside their mother by a cult known as the Religion of Crime, a pseudo-terroritst organization that beliefs on the lessons of deceit, greed, lust and murder stablished by the Crime Bible. Hold in their base for two weeks, Katie eventually managed to escape with the help of her father, however during the escape Katie's mother was shot in the head instantly killing her alongside her sister, who despite surviving lost all sense of fear, eventually becoming more distant and cold towards her father and Katie.
Partnership with the Bat: As Katie grew older, she ultimately descended onto becoming a drug addict and an alchoholic, entering a depressive state for a couple of years up until her father actually staged an intervention for her alongside most of her left family members and friends, including Bruce, convincing Katie to enter rehab. After it, Katie joined the military as a Navy Seal herself however, Katie was eventually dismissed due to her being an lesbian.
Returning back to Gotham, Katie and her father prescenced the appearence of a vigilante, one who've they knew who it was, Batman or rather their cousin and nephew Bruce.
Still enraged with most of the things that happened to her and seeing her cousin actually find some solace as Batman, Katie decided to do the same as a way to not only show her support to Bruce but also to find some peace in her life, becoming Batwoman with the help of her father.
As Batwoman, Katie is one of the clossest confedants Bruce had alongside Harold Allnut, Lucius and Alfred himself, being one of the most important members of their opperations.
A Team of Outsiders: After years of being Batwoman and in the eve of Bruce creating a new League after the death of Superman, Katie found herself hunting down the same organization that destroyed her family, the Religion of Crime, as it found a new leader to run their operations, Alice.
Figuring she couldn't take down an entire organization as a one-woman army, Katie decided to create a team that would help her on taking down the new Religion of Crime, now called Dark Faith, ultimately creating the Outsiders.
