Secret Origins: Born in the 19th century, young James Howlett most of his life was a frail and weak boy up until at the early age of 9 his mutation started manifesting in the form of giving him animalistic abiltties like that of enhanced smell and hearing. One night, the Howlett's groundkeeperThomas Logan in a drunken stupor, invaded the Howlett estate with his son and attempted to take James'es mother Elizabeth with him. John attempted to stop him and Thomas Logan shot him down in cold blood, James had just entered the room when this occurred and for the first time his full mutation manifested; his claws extended from the backs of his hands and he attacked the intruders with uncharacteristic ferocity, killing Thomas Logan, whom he later discovered he was the bastard child of.
After the death of both of his parents, James fleeded to the Canadian North, taking on Thomas last name as an alias, calling himself Logan, for many years he'd be an outcast, an outsider, going from job to job and from town to town, serving eventually on many wars, one of those being WWII itself, as Logan was one of the many members to serve alongside Captain America as part of the Howling Commandos.
Weapon X: He'd continue his life upon in Japan as he would spend time up until the 1980s, learning in the ways of a Samurai, eventually Logan would be recruited for a team of mercenaries known as Weapon X where he would spend time alongside the likes of Deathstroke the Terminator, Plastique and his on and off rival, Victor Creed.
It would be in Weapon X where Logan's life would take an spin for better or worshse as he would be experimented by the Canadian facilty known as Department H with an experimental metal known as Adamantium, which would be infused in his bone petrutions or ''claws'', the experiment worked, turning Logan into the perfect killing machine and a puppet for the department, but eventually, Logan would snap back, fleeding into the woods with no memory a like besides his name.
Professor Logan: And history would repeat itself as Logan would go back to being an outsider, this would be up until the mid 1990s where he'd be approached by Professor Charles Xavier to become a part of his mutant team known as the X-Men.
For years, the X-Men and the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters would be the clossest thing in years he could call a family, a home, becoming one of their must trusted members and a history professor at the school, eventually as the Heroic Age of Superheroes kickstarted near the mid 2000s with the growing popularity and trust in the JLA, Cyclops would decide to form up a new X-Men team which would act instead of a military task force, as a superhero team, helping the world that feared and hated them, one of the first members chosen being Logan. Along with being an X-Man, Logan is also a member of the staff at the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, serving as both the gym class-coach along as the student's history teacher.
X-Force: As the X-Men's mission went on and life became more convoluted for them near 2010', Cyclops decides to create an off the books black ops unit of mutants that would deal with situations too political or controversial the actual X-Men could deal with lead by Logan, X-Force.
