Adam Strange: The Legendary Star Lord (New Earth)

You know Star Lord. Legendary Outlaw?

Secret Origins: Member and leader of the band of intergalactic outlaws self-proclaimed Guardians of the Galaxy, Star-Lord along with his team were tasked by the planet of Rann to serve as protection against the invasion of what seemed to be the Badoon.
However this story ain't about who Star Lord was then, but rather the new Star Lord.
Once a mild mannered scientist from Canada that one day found an ancient piece of technology known as the Zeta Beam, Adam Strange was transported to the planet Rann mid-invasion by whoever seemed to attempt on destroying Rann and his fight against the Guardians. Figuring he could serve best on battle than just keeping himself safe alongside the Rannians, Adam took an jetpack alongside two pair of guns from a deceased soldier and headed into battle alongside the Guardians.
However as things do, the situation sowered as it wasn't the Badoon invading but however something predenting to be them, some sort of energy projection mimicquing them, created by an timeless being, Parallax. 
The Legend: Despite having managed to outfight Parallax, it wasn't over with Rann, fledding into the planet's core, attempting to destroy it from it's inside. Adam despite the Guardians claims to get himself into safety however accompanied them into the core of the earth, earning the respect of their leader, the Roguish Peter Quill aka Star Lord.
Eventually the Guardians managed to take on Parallax and even managing to have him leave Rann, however their victory didn't come without it's loss as Peter Quill seemed to have died in battle, leaving the Guardians with one less a member. Without a way to find his way home and nowhere else to go, Adam decided to join the Guardians as a part of their, and eventually, would take on the identity of Star Lord in honor of the fallen Quill, modyfing his costume and adding to it the guns and jetpack he took from Rann as a member of the new Guardians of the Galaxy.
